About Studio
My name is Dodam Kim, and I'm a full-time violin teacher serving the
Orange County area.
Teaching violin has been my greatest joy and passion. My teaching
method is based on solid technique, musical expression, and having
fun. Whether it's beginners or advanced, children or adults, I am
able to help individuals achieve their violin goals.
We have student recitals twice a year to provide the opportunity to
not just share their talents, but to build their confidence in
performance. I truly value the relationship I build with each and
every student and their parents, as it has brought me much joy
throughout this journey.
About Dodam
Dodam Kim is a professional violinist and teacher in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. She started learning the violin at the age of six in South Korea. Having moved to England during middle school, she joined the junior symphony orchestra at the Royal College of Music in London and continued her studies with Natalia Boyarsky. In 2002, she moved to the States and continued her pursuit of music by joining the Colburn School of Music program. She graduated at UCLA under Guillaume Suture, receiving full scholarship and B.A in violin performance. Dodam is both fluent in English and Korean.
